Window flashing is installed around a window to prevent rain leakage around the sash. Wind-driven rain can unfortunately easily enter in to small openings in the home such as around crevices or joints. There are generally 3 types of window flashing. The VELUX EFL 0022B twin slate flashing is suitable for slates up to 8mm thick and suitable for vertical combinations only. This flashing is used for installing two VELUX roof windows and two VELUX vertical elements side-by-side with an 18mm gap.
